The area of Vegetal Physiology teaches in the titulaciones of Graduate in Biology and of Master -Childish and Primary specialities-, In the Master of Analysis and Management of the Mediterranean Ecosystems, Master in Profesorado of Secondary and Master in Sustainable Management and Technologies of the Water.

The results obtained in different investigations and his experience in the didactic of the Vegetal Physiology have contributed to the participation in several books (The water in the plants, Practical of Vegetal Physiology, etc).

The group of Vegetal Physiology Applied works to improve the agriculture on scientific bases, giving answer to nutritional problems and of stress in plants, and with total respect to the environment.

The climatic factors and the conditions of the soil that give place to stress suppose, in fact, an important loss of harvest. Thus, comprise the physiological processes and the mechanisms of adaptation and acclimatisation of the plants to the environmental stress is of big importance for the agriculture and the environment.

The group realises works on the mineral nutrition, the water and illnesses and his treatments in distinct agricultural and ornamental crops, like strawberry, wheat, orange, lemon, potato, pepper, artichoke, palmera and pink. It tries to improve the agricultural production incorporating to the roots of the plants micorrizas that potencian the health and the absorption of nutrients and water from the soil. It has experience in nutritional diagnostic and vegetal illnesses, and has developed a program computerised of fertirrigación of woody crops that is pioneering in Spain and that is applying in a lot of fincas.
